The Apple Trees Babies 0 – 2
We make every effort to work with parents to ensure their child feels safe and happy with us at Bay Tree. Your child will be given a key person on registration and this named person will be here to offer your child a warm welcome and help them settle in with us during their stays. We have created a home from home environment which is warm and comforting. Your child will have the opportunity to take part in plenty of activities during their sessions; we enjoy creative arts, imaginative play, sensory, music time and outdoor activities whenever possible, the room is also well designed to encompass quiet times too, where we can enjoy story time and lots of cuddles.
The Lemon Trees 2 years to 3 years
Space to have fun and learn through play and activity is so important in early years and at Bay Tree. Your child’s well-being is of the utmost importance to all of us and we endeavour to go the extra mile to ensure that their time at Bay Tree is stimulating, enjoyable and memorable. Our toddler room is bright, welcoming and homely with plenty of toys, games and activities. Your child’s key worker will be there to support and care for them throughout their time with us. We believe in promoting good communication throughout the nursery, we have a daily notice board for parent’s to view the activities, meals and team planning for the day, as well as maintaining a journal for each child so parent’s and our team can ensure the individual needs of your child are met on a daily basis.
The Orange Trees Pre-School
Our pre-school room is an ideal setting for your child when they are getting ready for the transition to school. As well as being a fresh creative environment, we lay this room out similarly to a reception year class; we maintain the emphasis of fun learning and development but gently introduce more structured play sessions with further educational tools. We aim to engage the children to take on a little more responsibility to promote their independence, self-esteem and confidence in their decision making, social skills and team work. We openly encourage ownership of some of our outdoor learning areas such as maintaining the planting area and preparing snacks with their home grown produce. These slight changes can really help your child settle into their new school environment and prepare them to make this positive move confidently.
